Ive ran every compatibility options on both my installs, graphic enhanced and clean install. Still getting lock ups and crashes.

None of this was happened till the Server black out afew days ago, I had NO issues till then with anything.

This is happening to apparently a lot of ppl, so has to be on the server end.

I have also tried every compatibility option with the same results. Running as admin or not does NOT change the outcome. I have repatched to no avail, I have done a clean install and then repatched. Still disconnects randomly when zoning, and crashing when trying to login. I am getting extremely long zone times when i can actually login. If I am able to zone, I am soon disconnected (black screen with white writing saying You have been disconnected). Changing characters crashes me about 80% of the time. I do not use winEQ. I never have, just like Keldjor, my problem only started when the server showed blank a few days ago. I have completely disabled Windows Defender (antivirus and firewall). I have plugged straight into the cable modem and none of this makes a difference. I have Spectrum internet and use a Netgear modem.

last night was the first time for me. happened 3 times total out of maybe 10-12 zone loads...

And the client didn't crash on me, it just never finished the load. Didn't even get the 'this program is not responding'

The only times the client crashes on me is if I camp a character and try doing another character. That's about 1 in 10 times and yes, I've put eqgame.exe in compatibility mode.

I'm on green. Has been happening to me consistently since yesterday. Took 8 attempts to login today, would we either crash at zone in or crash at character select. Never happened to me before yesterday now it's happened 50+ times.

So who all has spectrum? On my spectrum net this is a problem. My has the same problem but if she uses her hotspot she is fine. I am going to test it with my hotspot to see what it does.

Seeing the other poster saying they had Spectrum made me think of this.

Just successfully tested my son and my account on my hotspot and no issues with either. Not sure what that means or what the problem is. I am going to reboot my modem and try again with Spectrum.

I'm seeing the same problems and I have Spectrum as well.
