Just one reason. For raid targets, you'll need to talk to certain guilds that did that.

They did what I call a "Zero Value" nerf. The item now has Zero (or near-zero) Value. It's equivalent to as retroactively removing all instances of the item from the game and it no longer dropping. The only difference is the optics - you get to keep your useless wands and take up invo space with them.

Disable use on raid targets, and give it a 1-2 second cast time. Another interesting option is making it lore. In either case, it wouldn't be a total loss for someone with wands. But as it stands - total loss.

At least I got video proof of being #1 DPS character serverwide... it was worth it =D

A wizard casting this on 25 mobs does 21,350dmg in 6.3seconds and over 100k dmg in 1minute.

Oh now we are talking solo on the same mob/level as your woodelves huh, well a bard easily can do 2,500 per tic solo or 25,000per minute.

A wizard nuking a single mob with ice comet is over 10k damage per minute, 30k in 3 minutes.

They HAD to go. Even if we ignore the trivializing of raid mobs people were gonna use them to power level to 60 the night Kunark came out giving a...certain subset....of individuals an undeserved advantage.

Next step should be an experience rollback of all toons leveled using this EXPLOIT!
