By the way the term "trannies" is kinda offensive, you can say trans girl or trans woman or just trans without crossing that line.

Being trans is really hard and it often comes with isolation and psychological comorbidities, not to mention that fluctuating hormone levels can make you literally insane. So it is really very nasty to troll the trans ladies on this board specifically. I hope you take this into account when you post in the future. I personally have a dream that one day all elves will be called gay the same regardless of their color, creed or hormonal config.

Also, no I do not ever think about "detransitioning" and I have seen E work on such unlikely cases over time that I believe anyone can do it with discipline. It is very hard work to turn the whole thing out and takes a soldierly perseverence. The only one to ever doubt their transition who I knew personally is a person I personally provided medication in charity; I perhaps should have interpreted their failure to secure medication as evidence of a lack of resolve and factored it into my own diagnosis. So, I will acknowledge it is not for everybody. However, it is so difficult to cross the barriers into medical transition for a male-to-female that I think misdiagnoses are quite rare. FTM is another story IMO which I will not address here; fashion in privileged young cis women can be corrosive and a desire to join the ephemeral and unspecific "male gender role" is much more questionable to my mind in general. The only pretty-enough trans girl in my whole entire city to hang was so hung up on collecting beautiful "boyfriends"...(cis girls not taking testosterone) and flexing about how many ...boys (loveless cis girls who all wanted a piece of my husband [You must be logged in to view images. It seems to me that both incels and the younger crop of anime loving AGP transsexuals essentially all start out as the same socially awkward and isolated nerdy guy who spends most of his time online and ends up falling into some internet rabbit hole.

Transgenderism skeptics accept dysphoria is very real, however it's not just a single issue that can be given that label. It can involve body dysmorphia, abuse trauma, and being unable to reconcile an internal sense of self with social expectations of masculinity and femininity, among a bunch of other things. Being born "the wrong sex" is not something that can happen, so that isn't the problem. For a lot of FTMs in particular, body dysmorphia is a huge factor and often you see a quick onset around puberty, sometimes exacerbated by unwanted sexual attention or trauma. It's also worthy of note the different reasons men and women want to transition. You have Blanchard's 2 categories for male, the AGPs(Autogynephiles) and feminine homosexuals, and this holds up pretty well in real life.

They(AGP trans & some trans-trenders) don't always start out hating trans skeptical women(sometimes called TERFs by trans activists). Imperiouskitten is probably gay and would have lived a happy life totally ignoring vagina-havers. But he's still a boy, and trans activists are boys who never got into sports, but deep in their soul still need a good team to play for and an evil team to play against. Being a transgender gives you both those things for free!

[There is a newer category of loveshy/incel chasers, mostly found among younger men online. Their motivation is safety through familiarity of intimacy with something that resembles a woman but is actually a guy who "gets" men and thus won't hurt them like women do. Unlike classic chasers, they go for trannies because they can't do better.

Blanchard's theories are junk. It was crafted pseudoscience so Blanchard could get the sex change without fitting the mold of being a typical transgender at the time. AGP is just the narcissistic feeling of attractiveness about oneself which many people have. There may be general clusters but the backwards reasoning isn't correct in my opinion. It has no space for being bisexual or pansexual as trans.

But to answer the question there aren't that many of us. In all my EQ guilds (Rustle, AM, Apex, Riot) I've been the only one. Aside from Cecily but that was before either of us started transition

Hmm I had Blanchard confused with another researcher whose name eludes me. I still think his theories are mostly junk though. The desire to be female predated any sexual attraction I had for others. Thus, it's not as simple as to say it's based on motivations to attract a certain kind of person. AGP may exist but it comes more out of a lack of an outlet, more symptom than cause.

I've done the stealth forum thing a few times and people where impressed, but then I came out for various reasons. It's harder to keep up with the forums gatekeepers and new account creation, and I promised to stop being mean to the plebes. I have also been surprised by the amount of trans infighting that takes place in forumquest. Some of the more brutal keyboard battles I have seen lately have come from trans elves. I mean, even the crazy ass political threads seem more civil.
I never really thought about it, but I could see why trans people might be drawn to role playing games though.
