Dragoon dirk works well enough as a beginning weapon. If you can get someone to help you out theres also the visceral dagger, which you can keep in your main hand for life if you really wanted.

If he's already 36 then you can't really call him a twink anymore. There are plenty of high PP camps that I feel a 36 necro could do that could net him 25kpp. I mean, hell, couldn't he camp his own JBoots?

Honestly I would spend it all on 100% WR bags as those will be the most useful after you have decent hp gear.
Btw on necros and money - my nec is my highest toon at 38 currently and I have around 7k in plat in bank and circlet of shadow and a mask of obtenebration (on rogue alt). The Mask was from buying/selling, the circlet and plat was from farming, so 25k is definitely possible without being a twink if you save your cash. Also speaking of which, circlet of shadow is pretty nice (inventory usable). | ||

Aye, if you get lucky and can land the sisters camp in OoT at level 25 you'll have made 5k+ by the time you leave at lvl 32-33 (tho you can stick the camp out until 35ish). Then if you do halflings in Misty you can make another 10k by 40-41.
