Why are your characters interesting?

I can't play EQ anymore unless I roleplay a character heavily. I've got a human monk who's a total airhead stuck in the 1980's, a human sk who won't wear plate armor because he's a sailor who thinks plate armor will drown him if he falls overboard, a human necro that walks everywhere and doesn't run because she's a risen mummy, a hyper Christmas elf gnome rogue and a troll shaman with a serious lisp (the troll is my only light RP character). I just dig the RP.

The closest thing to RP I've ever done in this game is self-inserting as my dark elf shadow knight because I'm a massive edgelord who exclusively listens to black metal and dungeon synth.

My main is interested because of his name. College buddy of mine made up a wacky character named Lobnor the Beaver Heaver- A barbarian berserker type that attacked by literally throwing rabid beavers at his foes. When Green launched I knew I wanted to play a barb shaman so remade Lobnor because the name was just too funny. Oddly enough people think I'm a pet sometimes.

When Lobnor dinged 20 I tried /surname Beaverheaver and it was not allowed. Beaver in a surname is blocked due to sexual innuendo reasons and the GMs wouldn't manually grant it. So rather than try some kinda cheeky misspelling in a moment of genius I chose "Feverheaver" because, well, shaman.

Said friend passed away at 34 in December 2019 from a heart attack (watch what you eat and drink folks). It was devastating news, but now I'm determined to max Lobnor out in his honor, which I'm 30% of 59 away from doing!

My other toons are dorks, but I wanted to share the story about what makes my main interesting.

Probably from too much hobbit pie (high in jumjum) and ale.

My main character on green is an erudite magician. Unfortunately he's not allowed to be interesting because you can't roleplay erudites here or have love for your continent.
