I already said why it would bother me, no one has yet to say why they would go anon though... just makes it a hassel for people who want to know what class, race you are (for whatever reason), or to figure out where you are

Lets assume you're this really awesome bard, and you have this gaggle of groupies that follow you around. If you don't /role, all those poor lowly groupies are going to die trying to hang out with you when you're raiding, or AE pulling entire zones, etc.

So you do what the responsible bard would do. You /role, and you save lives.

If I go anon, it's because I either don't want to be bothered or I don't want people knowing what zone I'm in.

Feel free to go /ano or /role but DONT expect me to answer you when you ask for tp since I have NO clue where you are, who you are or nothing so then WHY should I move from my camp and TP you when you ask me???

Offering me 20-30pp for 10-15 min of my exping time to TP a /ano or /role person isnt anything for me............ thats what boring people can do.

If you go /ano or /role fine do that but dont bother me whit some TP questions since I dont care you are just a /ano person I dont know anything about.

I have never answered a /ano or /role person who sent me a tell if they didnt stand behind me and why should I when I dont know where you are?

I always try to help out low lvl or none /ano-/role people when I can and have time but I dont like hiden people since I have spent to much time traveling to zones and just find out its like 5+ /ano people in the zon that I was trying to camp something in...........I just hate it and thats why I have stopped to answer tells from them. If they will be MR ano and nobody its up to them.

My new rules is if they go ano TP will cost 500pp.......... :-)

I /role simply because I'm a druid and it cuts down on the 1000000 tells you get an hour for ports and PLing... any other class I play I play without anon or role on.

The argument of "it's not classic" holds no water when it's chosen arbitrarily sometimes and disregarded other times.

Not everything "classic" is good for the server and needs to be recreated.
