The timeline is over. Green is just blue2 now, no reason for it not to have blue's QoL too.

blue had them for a decade before they tried to remove them and players rioted, green has never had them and should never have them.

Does this mean a merge is coming soon? A lot of chatter about it in guild chat but wouldn't that be a year ahead of schedule?

The original green announcement said merge would be no sooner than January 2023 to allow six more months past the end of the green timeline.
