I get that people want that "Classic" experience, but let's be honest, a lot of shit in classic really needs to just go. At least, supplement boats with TL's. Yes I know, you can dial a port anywhere, but it just does not make sense.

Also, why not increase exp or have every weekend have a bonus? Green is at EOL anyway, and most endgame loot is perma camped by high end raiding guild, so at least give the normies something.

Even Diablo 2 Resurrected , a 20 year old game, is making QoL improvements.

Take the average priority list for dev of the majority of players, now flip it upside down and you get the dev priority list.

Sometimes you do what you can. Their priority list is presumably modified by available capability: Changing an NPC script or a database entry is easy. Ships...heck, they might not have any presently active staff members who have the time and know-how to fuss with that stuff. If you haven't noticed the rate of patches--ANY patches--is at an all-time low. At this point we're going good if they keep the proverbial lights on.

TLers suck. They were worst boat fix ever. Shoulda had a 000.5% chance to DT you as a miscast causes you to get torn to pieces as per the lore.

My first ever toon got dropped by the boat in TD, back in 2000. Level 20 Dwarf Warrior with hard-earned small scarab armor. I died in the water. Tried to have a friend help me (we were both 13) to no success.

I didn;t know that I could petition to have GMs recover it. I let the corpse rot, and rerolled a new toon instead.
