Because I'm a hardcore and super competitive player who also plays on TLP and when a Rogue misses a backstab on TLP, even a single backstab, it's like hard throwing. So how do I counteract this? I have my backstab hotkey in the center of the screen so I can see when it is off of cooldown (button mashing doesn't work on TLP, if you've played a high level Rogue there, you already know what I mean).

When you press backstab on TLP as a Rogue, it's almost like being a sniper in a video game, you have to perfectly time it, otherwise you just wasted the ability completely. Okay, that's fine and dandy, I guess. But why does the combat log gotta be in the middle of the screen? So I can easily watch my combat log and backstab cooldown simultaneously.

Again, I'm super competitive. Backstabbing on TLP is a lot more hardcore, you can't simply have it keybind to "1".

How the fuck are you going to strafe with WASD to circle around the mob and hit "1" in a split second to land and otherwise impossible backstab? No, this is where your mouse side button comes into play. You have to have backstab key bound to your mouse so while your strafing around and all of the fingers from your left hand are on deck mashing WASD, and your other hand is holding down right click so you can strafe, and aim, you can then use your right thumb to perfectly execute those backstabs.

And I'm not even kidding.

World of Warcraft Rogues who are serious about PVP do the same thing.

Very TL;DR but you asked.

Sounds pointless but whatever floats your boat!

The window of opportunity to backstab in TLP is probably less than 1 second, and it appears randomly. Much harder version of Rogue. Double backstab is also a super rare proc there, it's not every single time.

P99 is still harder over all. On TLP I leveled most of my characters 1-60 in like 2 days during an EXP BONUS weekend.

inb4 some scrub comes along and says they play on TLP and this isnt an issue. Trust me. I'm the Rogue that literally comes into your camp and steals the kills you just pulled.

Might seem harsh, but that's how TLP is. There is no such thing as PNP. If you want mobs you gotta be better than the players around you. Otherwise they just take your shit.

The loot system is automatic, it’s hard to explain if you haven’t played it

Like for real you’ll be looking through your bags and be shocked to find an FBSS in them because you never even noticed one had dropped, but during all the spam apparently you rolled on one and looted it

Seem harsh, but someone trained us out of the zone (which is pretty much legal on TLP) and when someone moved into our camp and we came back they tried to cite PNP as law

I’m not a fan of PNP even on P99 because it mostly protects people who exploit it on the high end rather than the little guy who just loses his camp because a high level player moves past him and plows every mob he spent the last 20 minutes clearing towards

But regardless p99 doesn’t even exist on TLP so when ppl cite it there as law it hella triggers me
