It's not an error of opinion you goof. There is no federal ad valorem.

Okay, I'm in Texas so ad valorem is my only point of contact with the issue at all.

quick google search says its roughly 10% of funding from federal so its semantics about income, sales, property regardless.

also tax sports gambling more
This video was fairly eye opening. I saw it a few days ago so I’m trying to remember some of the interesting points:

- Apparently people have bet a half a trillion dollars on sports betting since the Supreme Court passed a law allowing it around like 2018(?)

- Sports betting sites will happily take all your money, but if you are actually good and win too much, they will throttle how much you can bet or outright ban you. So you can only lose big, not win big

- Sports betting sites prey upon and rely on people with gambling addictions, offering them terrible-odds bets called parleys and projecting those profits into their expected earnings before the actual games even take place

- Apparently other forms of gambling require people to prove they have the funds they are spending via W2’s to prevent addicted gamblers from pawning all their shit. But sports betting sites skirt this

- Obviously the rates of people identifying as gambling addicts have gone up, while their average age has gone way down

Sure, but take it up with Texas. Donny Johnald Trump and Co can't do squat about it.

I'm liking this temperance digression. Online gambling is a rotten son of a bitch. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

it's trending that way without me do anything already, the voucher thing is getting passed next year so that's step 1 in their plan of destroying public schools.

I'll grant that it's a soft sort of resegregation. But why does that mean destruction?

Some people will just pay extra.
