I had similar problem while playing ogre- constantly the last letter would get blanked out on occasional chat messages. I thought it was a bug forever, but then I realized thst ogre don't start with 100 common tongue. I got my common tongue to 100 and it never happened again

Pretty sure this happens when you have a empty space after the last character.

Seen in in many a auction, and had it happen to myself.
