Rules regarding camps on this server...

You shouldnt be able to hold a camp if you are afk. You shouldnt be able to claim 3 different camps if you can only maintain a presence at one camp at a time.

On prexus everything was FCFS, you knew it and so did everyone else. You come into zone call camp check, if someone calls a camp and you go to this camp and find it empty...its now yours. If someones AFK at a camp, and you come to the camp...its yours. Thats how it was, and this way was alot easier. Less QQ'ing and petitioning if you know you're AFK at a camp you're going to lose it. Not to mention if a named spawns in a zone, and someones claiming that camp but isnt even clearing mobs near it or engaging the named, that mob should be yours as well as the camp if you so wish.

I'm not trying to change any rules here or bitch about the rules in place, just saying they're lame as hell. Specifically talking about the Jade prod camp, as well as others that I cant think of. Im curious to see whats going to happen when epic quests come out, are we going to have special rules for all of the long tedious camps involved in those quests? or is it going to be an all out fubar fest? lol I know if i sit for 2 days camping VSR and some jackass tries to come along saying hes on a list I'll probably tell him to fuck off and die.

Here's the thing...Prexus had some shitty camp rules and even shittiter players. As far as the being AFK thing goes...don't be a dick? If a named/PH is up and no one is responding, wait 5 minutes, then they can fuck off. You ever suddenly have to take a shit while playing EQ when you run out of socks and actually need a toilet? With epic camps, that's going to be a shitstorm no matter what the rules for them are.

just a week or so ago I found the AC up in oot with no one around. I engaged it then someone gated in and took it from me. technically it was mine, but the boog mudtoe corpse at my feet told me some dude was camping it. so being the nice guy that I am I was like ok.

if it was some dude I didn't like I'd have fried that bitch on the holy flame of the camp rules, but yeah. not being there was worse than being afk. so what am I trying to say? have a heart! plant a tree.

The shitty players were from Stasis/PDF. Everything was fine until they didn't want to play nice.
