RIP Val

he was also the badguy in MacGruber, Dieter von Cunth, which is a great movie. he was always great. Heat is one of my top ten favorite movies.

edit: see The Ghost and the Darkness if you haven't yet, also a great Val Kilmer movie

Oh shit, I remembered The Saint but I totally spaced that he was in this

Great movie, one of my favs as a kid. I always used to say I had a friend as a teen where when we were together we were like the Ghost and the Darkness. Got into a lot of trouble. But got away with a lot of it

(One example is I went to his ex’s high school and cut a tiny hole in her car’s soft top and dumped a full vial of elk urine inside as retaliation for something she had her cronies do to him…)

Problem was when they were together. Alone they were just bullies, but together... they were lethal.”

Thumbs down

good movie. i wore out my vhs copy, then dvds came out. dating myself. fun fact: i lived in valdosta during college, the real doc holliday got his undergrad degree there (or some equivalent) 'round the time the civil war was wrapping up.

The Saint was also good. i don't think I've ever seen Real Genius, wife loves that one, will watch tonight in Val's honor

might as well watch True Romance again for his mostly offscreen Elvis cameo.
