Also to note is some people use manastones like gold, where they horde them to wait until their demand goes up so they can offload them at a higher price. I know a few people who do this.

Good to see price finally going up

As to why the price is going up.

With epic's coming up soon Manastones go from a sexy twink item to a required item for raids. Guilds will need to farm the revamped planes for epic items..and manastones are usable even after revamp.

Who needs to use a manastone for planar raids? There is no encounter needing it.

Its about the amount rotting on inactive accounts.

Sounds like a plan..give me all your manstones and go raid without them. Because they definitely do not make things easier.

I was unable to use manastone in fear... or sky..... i have not tried in hate but what planes are you talkin about citizen?

They made manastones not usable in planes on live when clerics, etc were being denied access to those planes raids unless they had manastones, which were artifacts at that point.

As it is now, its pretty easy for a clr to bind outside Fear, gate, manastone up, heal, and zone back in. I've only seen one cleric do this anything close to recently. Hate and Sky are a different story of course.

At this point in the server, and alot of people being 60 and not really needing to exp (maybe ever again), I don't see the benefit to them, except leveling twinks. Using them as a barter item makes more sense, except the value seems too volatile.
