If it's something manic or perhaps psychosis there's Lithium salts. Most people think of Rx lithium that needs to be closely monitored because of toxicity. In fact, trace amounts of lithium are essential for health in humans, and there are other forms of Lithium (Orotate and Aspartate) which are sold OTC and provide the benefits without enough of the risks where it can be taken every day.
