I wish I went Erudite Paladin. They look so cool. Like jedi.
One reason why monk could shoulda been an option for the race, stats aside. That plus the fact that their model was designed with robes in mind which are typically what monks wear. RotWF smoking jacket would look perfect on them.

That's a really good point. They would have made amazingly cool monks. Maybe since they are pretty gimped physically, they have some sort of special erudite-only skill or two.

Erudite knights are cool. I think Erudite SK is a bit underrated as well. Highest int which is a stat that remains relevant even with full BIS and int will dictate your amount of mana which will be the main limiting factor in most solo challenges once you're decked in raid gear. You'll also have a fair chance to fix city factions should you want to but a big plus is dodging the 15-20% XP-pen. If you care about full completion and that would include Guise of the Deceiver (which tbh is sorta meh on SKs given evil faction and skelly illusion) an Erudite SK couldn't get one anyway afaik.

The Ogre and Troll melee stat advantage is nice but comes at the price of low Int and can be mitigated by twinking your character. Stun resist is a QoL thing and regen is nice and will certainly help cut down downtime at level 51+ when not limiting by mob spawn timers and may also help when doing solo challenge stuff.

Darkelf is practically the same class with Hide which honestly isn't too useful and I guess if you care about Guise then Guise wouldn't do anything for a Dark Elf anyway. Afaik an Erudite SK couldn't

I would lie if I said I wouldn't want a Troll SK if I had the choice but the guise thing bugs me. For an alt the XP-pen is also offputting and I'd probably rather make an Erudite in that case.

Perhaps an item, something akin to the shield of stalwart seas to compensate for them embarrassing physical stats. And erudite-only hoods instead of headbands/sashes.

I also think it's soooooo dumb that an Erudite Paladin of Prexus cannot use the Koi trident.

I just found out the oldest civilization we know of on earth is the Eridu - I wonder if Erudin is based off of them?

If you think that’s dumb, the SK has half a dozen piercers and caps at 215 skill.

And stats don't matter end game because ToV gear is so good.

Anyone else think Erudite knights are the best?
