Can we get any kind of loose/ballpark estimate on if/when this server (in any form - beta or whatever) is happening?

I know what your kneejerk reaction will be to this: "No, fuck off. No ETA. It's ready when it's ready. I am the provider, and I owe you nothing. Especially after one of my staff guys lost his marbles and I'm working a triple shift at work this week. Eat shit + die"

Hear me out though, friends. There is some rationale behind why I'm inquiring that goes beyond me being an impatient evercrack whore.

This thread is on the original Tallon Zek messageboard, and is where I hawk your blue server (originally Secrets VZTZ, but that died pretty fast). It currently has 1650 replies and 12000+ views. Hey - people want to play!

Most of us started playing on P1999 about a month ago. Most of us would much rather be playing on a Red1999 server, but we decided "no, that's a rumor and probably won't happen" and settled to just play on the blue server.

Obviously, given the stickies at the top of the forum here, that has changed and a red server will actually happen. We don't have any ETA though, so currently people are divided on whether they should keep investing time playing on P1999 or just wait for the red server. Many have stopped playing on P1999 solely for this reason. Others are still playing on P1999 and mad at the people waiting for an unreleased server that is currently in a Duke Nukem Forever state of progress. Any kind of loose ETA would help tremendously here. Are we looking at < 3 months? A year? Two weeks for beta? Anything.

I know a few of us (myself included) have the resources to put up a stable VZTZ clone, which is what will eventually happen if the Red99 cocktease goes too far past its expiration date. Would this be ideal for anyone? No. But it would give people something to actually play.
