Most of them never quit at all, and just played retired accounts that they had access to instead. Some went as far as to pretend that the original player 'came back', though.

I made a char named Kbthesuspended and ran to EC, lamented about being suspended for 2 minutes, then promptly logged off. That was the extent of my play during my suspension. I'm also one of the very few people who just admitted I got caught with my hand in the honey pot and accepted my fate instead of saying I got owned by a hurricane/tsunami/rapist in a ski mask.

Also, not sure if suspensions have been lifted for others, but I'm certainly still suspended.

it's like you make the atomic bomb (server) and you don't want to let other countries (guilds) have nuclear secrets (under the radar information). it's gm's business and no one else's or else everyone gets nuked. letting Iran or North Korea beta test and keep the successful nukes, makes other countries uncomfortable.
