Kunark Questions? When?? - Page 2

I totally feel like I'm going to be a gimp playing a Human Monk when Kunark comes out! I can't believe that regen rate, that's nuts!

This is very true! I play maybe an hour or two a night... and I'm not in a guild or have any friends to help level me, so it will be a long slow road!

If and when they bring Kunark out, I'll make my Iskar Necro again. One of my fav's love the regen they get with life tap and their regen rate. mmmm good stuff.

Honestly, unless you plan on trying to solo to 60 don't worry about being a human monk. Regen really doesn't matter in groups and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. (If you do plan on mostly soloing that might be a different story.)

As it is there is going to be an army of Iksar Monk clones, don't become one of them.

Good points.. I enjoy grouping and plan on doing so until level cap.

And yah, I was thinking that Human Monks will be come rare after Kunark, so I might as well stick with him!

I like my Human monk, as was pointed out if you group, the regen dont really come into play much, unless you pulling and FD works and you have 2 HPs left...might be a few minutes before you can stand up [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

But I suspect the Iksar Monk wagon will be brimming in Oct for sure.

I do like the idea of a Ikky nerco as my kunark character....hmmm

That's what I'm doing. Necros and shaman are the two classes that reap the most benefit from the added regen. Necro gets an additional boost from the fact that they can pretty much give the middle finger to worrying about most factions in the game from the moment you roll one up. Truly the lone rebel of lone rebels in the EQ world.

Is Iksar regen better than Troll regen? I was always under the impression that they were the same (not that I disagree with any of your post.)

Necros on the other hand can't be Trolls, so this is the only "regen" race that allows a necro.. making them fairly elite among necromancers.
