![]() thats okay pokemon stadium N64 clearly the superior game
i literally played the game boy version so much when i was younger that I'd rather watch paint dry. Every time you just explorin or w/e and then the fucking sudden shit starts freaking out with sound and the camera spiral fades to a stupid pidgey and you just spam A till it dies... just typing that made me angered my brother | ||

Gameboy Advanced games (3rd Gen) can send pokémon to DS (4th gen) which can transfer pokémon to 5th gen. Uhmmm. Mew was available as an unlockable event in third, but the event is long-over. It was also distributed in 4th over wifi for the pokemon 10th anniversary, which is also long over. SO, the only way to get mew is to transfer him from the wii Pokemon Ranch game!

![]() I was almost tempted to go download a ROM but these games are just way too easy. Not really any point to replay when you can just roflstomp your way through willy nilly.

![]() The problem is that those rules really sap the fun out of the game, especially that second one. If trainers were just a bit more difficult and didn't always have shitty AI the games would be much more entertaining.
The AI thing is the biggest problem considering Pokemon is a game built around startegy. Unfortunately the trainers were coded to just randomly pick whatever move each round, when the player is prescient of the basic mechanics of the game like weaknesses. Considering almost every trainer in the game uses 1 or 2 types of pokemon exclusively, it's so easily exploitable. And it's not realistic, no human player uses 2 Staryu 3 Starmie and a Squirtle. And even if a Trainer has a Tentacruel out and a Golem as backup, he won't switch if you bring out a Jolteon.
