Should I accept pp for buffs?

I will add however that when you make a buff class you should expect to get asked for buffs and you should provide them. That is your role in Norrath.

And you shouldn't be /anon or /roleplay 99.999% of the time you play so you can avoid your role *nods*

when i'm in a group my mana bar is not my property any longer, it belongs to the group. so people that ask for buffs are usually going to get turned down unless they can provide something of value like buffing me or my group in return.

sometimes i charge for buffs too. mana is everything in everquest. mana is the resource by which you turn time into experience and/or loot.

a lot of times though i buff for free. standing in ec? running through oasis? that mana is just going to be wasted regen anyway so it doesn't hurt to hand out crack to kiddies. but if i'm on the job doing something else you should probably expect to pay in some form.

i'll never turn down a tip if someone offers it. it gratifies that person knowing that they paid in some form, and it helps cover port money costs.
