Too be completely honest, I fucking hate single player RPG's. So boring.
but ill give Skyrim a try because of the promise of slaying large amounts of dragons. If i can't dunk on people, i better be able to dunk on dragons.

Just purchased this on steam, letting it DL overnight. Will post tomorrow or this weekend about the game. I have never played an elder scrolls before, just watched a buddy play morrow wind on xbox a few times. Hoping for the best.

My only qualm with the series is the total lack of online capability. I can excuse that for morrowind, but I mean, its 2011 now, that option should be a given imo. Kind of kills the competitiveness that keeps me coming back to play a game. To me, AI (even w/ scaling difficulty) provides little challenge.

Fucking steam is dying right now, slow ass DL speed (60k) and ive switched DL server to closer location and now its stuck decrypting the game at 34%...

Got this game thinking itll make the week till R99 comes out pass faster

Its getting good reviews all around was worth the day1 buying gamble most likely

Bethesda games in general seem to get very high reviews before release. Mainly because they promise a lot more than they actually deliver.
