I don't think it's a stupid story, it's actually a pretty good excuse as to why I wouldn't have a specific piece of gear anymore. I mean, yeah, I guess I could have said I sold it for pp, but why would I bother if I was quitting?

I'm not trying to argue anything in a public forum, I'm just telling the story, as some people here seem concerned about all the RMT's going on, and feeling like those people aren't being banned. Do you see me crying here, trying to drum up support for being unbanned? No.

On 11/15, I tried to log in, and discovered I was banned. My cleric's name is Biindy, just to get that out in the open.

I had been on earlier that day. I haven't been playing as much, and have been debating quitting. A "friend" was trying to get me to give him my hiero cloak, and wouldn't leave me alone about it. I wanted to keep it in case I didn't actually quit like I had planned.

So, to get him to leave me alone, I told him I RMT'd it, and logged off.

I guess he petitioned me, and with zero proof, two hours later I was banned by amelinda.

We can see what power being friends with a guide gets you.

Ever since that time, I've been trying to get unbanned. I've suggested they look through the logs, anyone can tell by my lack of pp and dropable gear that I don't even have anything worth selling. The hiero cloak is my only item of value, so you can perhaps see why I didn't want ot just give it away.

There is zero proof I ever did or was setting up a RMT. The ban is totally based on me telling one person that I was going to do a RMT.

So, you can take Rogean's reply in this threadas pretty much bullshit.

"You also have to prove that they did it, and by prove I do not mean taking any single person's word for it"

"I would rather see people get away with something they might have done than to see someone get banned for something they didn't do."

You can see how things work here. 300+ confirmed cheaters got 21 day suspensions. I'm on day 15 of my ban, with no end in sight.

Amelinda banned me on the word of one person, with absolutely zero proof to back it up.

Yet it looks like they have proof concerning all the RMT's going through the casino's in EC, but they won't do anything about them.

(tinfoil hat time)Interestingly enough, my "friend" who wanted my cloak claimed he didn't have any pp to buy one. (mind you, he has 3-4 million pp in gear) I make a new account the next day, and log in to ec tunnel. He happens to be there, and is now wearing a hiero cloak. I'd be interested to see if my cleric is still wearing hers, or if our friendly guide did a little magic behind the scenes, and that is why my account is still banned weeks later, with no proof of any kind.

I suggest everyone just petition RMT on all the people they don't like. Apparently they are fine just banning people with no proof. Or maybe that only works if you know the guide. I'm not sure.
