The throne room in CT is similar. Unless you do a massive amount of lulling (5 or 6 mobs), pulling the throne always brings about 10.

I died so many times from a seahorse coming through the walls to say hi and then nuke me to death.

Between 30 and 41 (current lvl) I must've gone to Kedge with a group at least 10 times. I can reliably pull the first room with all swordfish, fd break the bottom room with 3 swordfish, a pirahana and a shark, and a 1/5 chance of death pulling third room with golden haired mermaid and 2 pirahnas if FD fails or damn seahorses aggro through walls. That's pretty much constant combat if spawns are broken properly. Not to toot my own horn but I'm a low level Kedge expert :P. 2 Darksea Harpoons, 1 Gloom Harpoon and a shitload of xp, even with the occasional death. Given the awful pathing and aggro ranges through walls I can imagine the rest of the zone is hellish though. But a raid group can prob handle it.

Izni the answer is FD breaking in both cases. Monks are better at it cause it isn't an actual spell, but SK's can manage it as well.

These are magic based nukes mostly right? Anyone know offhand the minimum MR needed to resist most of these spells?

I know the tiny green con fish that explode in 1 hit I'm able to resist pretty much all the time, but I don't know about the seahorses and mermaids.

Many a time I have fought a single perfectly pulled mob in there only have have the Seahorse Patriarch wall walk in and say hello. He does that without even pulling sometimes.

Pyrocat knows what hes talking about. KK isn't bad if you realize that it is unlike any other zone and needs to be understood. You'll probably die a lot more while you work out the kinks in your pulling strats. Remember that you are dealing with a Z axis. I suggest you find a 3D map so you can work on not pulling through walls.
