Well, not long by most players standards. Some have been here for years. I've only been here for months, and got some very generous handouts along the way.

Take a bit of work but @ 20 if you are smart you could get 50k in a couple of weeks completely legitimately, especially on this server.

Depends how bad you want it. Hiero cloak took a shit from 65k to I say 45k in the past few weeks. If you have the money, I still think it's a decent buy and won't be outdated when velious comes out. It's +4 to every stat (minus resists) and +75 hp/mana....what more do you want? you want to pay 200k for some velious cloak that gives you 100HP (if there even is one)? the trade-off just isn't worth it. if you want to be patient, i think you can get one for <40k in a month or so.

I'm not questioning the validity of the money, just curious.

A wise player would look at all Velious cloak items that are DROP and see how the stats/classes/races stack up against your overpriced 50k cloak.

If there is a tradeable back piece that's better, I will bet you that 50k that it will drop in price by at least 50%.

Feel free to QFT for the future, so I can sit back smug with my arms crossed and say, "I dun told ya so! Oh lawd!"

It'll definitely drop the price but I don't think by half. My guild leader on live farmed the heck out of the heiro cloaks by himself in PoP (While my guild was farming PoTime mind you) and selling the plat he got for IRL cash. Heiro cloaks are still awesome for a very long time to come...

...but again, the price will drop once velious comes back and people go "ohh look, new shiny!!!!!"
