So then what should be done? permanent 100x exp like LoZ? Making a lvl 50 in 2days played is not fun.

Boxing has its perks, but is not fun either because the low levels are even more desolate on LoZ than they are on R99 with no lowbies around. The few that are around gain 20lvls an hour and PvP with OOR heals...

I don't think boxing would be an issue on red. People would have a pve advantage, but I've fought 2boxers and its a joke. Boxing would really balance it out and still allow people to level up by themselves. It would be an alternative to exp boosts as it would offer the very few low level players to have the ability to xp at any time.

The lower the population gets, the more were faced with the option of either letting the server die or at least attempting to make compromises that will stimulate growth of the server. Everquest wasn't meant to be played alone, especially if you don't want to play a caster.

All that said, it still is of a fraction of the importance of content to keep the hundreds of high level players that already exist interested in the game.
