I can see why some people can see this as mass recruiting zerg but I don't agree. More than half our members are new players (new to server.) So it's kind of like we are bringing friends to join. If you had 30 friends in RL and you all rolled on Red would you consider yourself a Zerg? If all goes to plan, I hope to bring double the players than what is now now. You mind if i use your old Red recruiting thread but modify it a little for Kubark release? Goingt o hit other forums hard pretty soon.
Whether you're a "zerg" or not is kinda besides the point. Don't take it personally or get defensive about the label - the point is that there's 2 big guilds.

And the 2 big guilds will compete with eachother, which probably means both guilds getting bigger.

At that point, I'm asking "why not just have 2 teams?"

It's like 2 guilds but better for the reasons I mentioned.

Then you have the same thing except there's the added awesome of zone control based on proximity to evil/good cities + casual stragglers aren't skullfucked by both guilds.

Default hard

hardcoded teams have always been better

people cant hop over soon as one team has an advantage, they are forced to fight it out.

Not just go 60v40, then 70v30, ...............then 90v 10, like now.

altho I love the idea of teams, I think it would need to be at least 3. Imo an odd number of teams keeps the game balanced (altho SZ good team was heavily out numbered) it worked well for Matrix Online and Aika. I think 2 teams will fail but teams is just wishful thinking at this point. I would gladly halt actively recruiting if there was another guild working on it. We are at the point where people just ask us and I no longer have to wander the newb zones looking to help lowbies.

teams would be awesome but alas we don't have them...i think part of the point of the post was to show the older players all the new blood so they might come back and form their own guilds so it wouldn't be a 2 guild server

Flowers has been pretty active lately and altho their list not be cut short, they have been putting work in pvp-wise. I would love to see 4-5 guilds pop up but they wont pop up by themselves. VV was a long shot but hardwork by everyone in the guild has gotten it pretty far. We are on the verge of farming raid plane trash. I mean this guild was recruited during the lowest oopulation point of the server. Now that its picking up, should be alot easier.
