If I have a weak wifi signal I will get a "banned" message. Is this what you see?

I've gotten that one once while I did have a weak signal, but the one I keep getting is the same one you'd get if you did go linkdead. Temporarily blocked IP. Please try again in a few minutes.

I've been able to play with him in the past. I think it was after I played at his house that the issue began. Its hard to say. I hadn't played in a few months and I was 800 miles away when I did. I played at his house when I moved back and then decided to start playing again.

Hey, ask for an IP exemption if it is truly the case that you're having some kind of technical error. Although if you AND your friend are jacking your neighbors WiFi, that would indeed be the issue. It's not your IP that matters, it's the IP of the internet you are using.

All that being said, to file for IP Exemption, you need to follow a specific format:
Go into the forums, go into "petitions", make a new thread title it: "IP Exemption"
(taken from the forum rules for petitioning)
IP Exemption: This is for requesting to be exempt from the limit of 1 connection per IP Address. You may request exemption if you have more than 1 real person playing from the same IP. When posting for this, please include the account names of every person that will be playing from the same IP.

Hope this helps!
