Nilbog: Griffawns will no longer drop griffenne charm. Added missing levels of griffawns.

Nilbog: Griffennes will have more chances to spawn.

Trying to get a griffenne charm for the lambent bracer quest and the only griffennes I've found are at a specific loc. One always spawns and the other spawn is sometimes a fawn. Loc is -445, 1901.

I don't remember these spawns being static but I've run around and not seen another griffenne flying anywhere, just the two standing at this loc. Lots of fawns roaming though.

Also, why is the charm so rare? I've probably killed like 20-30 griffennes and no charm. It used to drop basically every other kill.

Got it on around the 35th kill of the static spawn. Oddly enough, the first 20 or so didn't drop the Griffenne Downfeather, then the last ten-ish all dropped it. Is random borked?

the grifenne charm DEFINITELY does not drop as often as it should, as easily seen by allakazam comments, google searching, or pretty much anywhere on the internet where this is mentioned. I was ridiculously lucky to ever get two of these.

Also, not all of the grifennes are static - there's one that paths near the big hill near the gypsies, with a griffawn as its placeholder. In addition to this there's a griffon (?) somewhat near Xanuusus whose placeholder is a grifenne. Just some things I discovered in the hours upon hours I spent in that zone trying to get the charms.

What's up with the recent trend of bumping a thread and simultaneously starting a new thread on an identical topic? Two threads doesn't make your topic more important.

Parsing my logs shows 33 griffennes slain and 3 griffenne charms looted in the past 30 days. ~10% drop rate. There are four entities that can spawn a griffenne in NK.

I know I posted this in the other thread (with the actual placeholders), but please, if you want to find the bracers be aware that there are four placeholders for the grifennes and not two.

edit: in my opinion though, the charm is still far too rare. Just saying!
