Which class epics are still status symbols after Velious revamps?

IB sold Soul Leech mq's as well. And there were SKs who already had soul leeches in other guilds too.

Most of mine did, took a massive break between like august/sept 2011 til Feb/March 2012, so I missed most of the IB rush I believe.

There is a an ogre in TR that had epic as well, someones alt or something now~.
He also had the inny breatplate, and the earring you get for doing the epic again.
Also appeard to have all the sky gear.

I think the dynamics of epics are a bit different than they were on live. I remember the idea of getting to the last islands in Sky was something pretty amazing-especially after guilds regularly stopped raiding there. That put necro and mage epics (and even warrior) into a pretty "epic" level.

The bottleneck for the Mage epic is the earth staff. Once it becomes a mini-boss (also dropped by the male forsakens), the MQs and the ease of availability will make the epic more of a banal,yet still class defining item.

I'm sure the same will happen with the other bottlenecked, highly contested spawns such as Inny, VS, Fay, and Trak.

I remember around the velious and even luclin days many rogues using their epic in the offhand, just for the haste benefit. It's a nice haste, and great stats.

Afaik velious does not make verina any better and therefore the enc epic will remain a bottlenecked nightmare.

general noob mentality here on the forums.. not every 60 witch epic hangs out sits in ec all day for your to inspect there gear...

most high end guilds have there mains camped out at raid targets and log on alts who are in the 50's etc.

i know of many non TMO that have epics, sk/bard/wiz/mage/necro

but since most of the sub lvl 55 here think its tmo are bust they only think tmo have epics and gear, not true

sorry you dont leave ec and wander into raid target or 58+ areas where geared players hang out

again not everyone sits in ec and most cant due to contesting raid targets
