I been hunting for this one as well for some time now. When I started looking for it I went after what I remembered from live. and that was making him spawn in the north east corner of the zone, above the centaur camp. I cleared the whole corner several times but no sign of a pegasus.
(btw, as a druid i was simply snaring everything in sight for about 10 minutes and then with some good timed eartquakes take them all out at once.)
Then I started looking for posts by other people about its spawn location. To my surprise I found out the mentioned the area between splitpaw and the aviaks.
I now come to SK sometimes to just pick a specific creature and start killing them all in that area south of splitpaw, running from the east zone border to the west zone border over and over again. Tried escaped splitpaws, lions, lioness, elephant calfs, wolfs and aviak rooks. But still no sign of Quillmane.
The only idea i have left is Zrithsadioun and his pet. I dont know anyone that took this guy out yet. He does roam the correct area in the zone. But he sure would be a tough PH for the pegasus.
