Spells: roots/snares not dispelling

hi everyone,

had two sorta strange situations today that I primarily wanted to see if anyone else had experienced.

1. I got splurted, and when I cast cancel magic on myself (a total of three times, splurt was in top slot) it dispelled other buffs, as if splurt were not MR based. I had people in guild tell me they were dispelling splurt with pumice as recently as yesterday (causing me to think it ought to still be working as normal)

2. I had a disease cloud on myself and got raptured -- i sat there for the full duration of rapture, while disease cloud continued to tick -- mez didn't break.

if anyone's got any corroborating experiences like or similar to this, would love to hear them!

the way i thought it worked was that cancel magic can only cancel low level spells. thats why casters get nullify then later annul or w/e to cancel high level buffs. no?

pumice, being nullify, can dispel higher level mr debuffs than cancel magic

both these things have happened to me buddy
i usually blame hax for such things but who knows hehehe
think if that invisible necro dot lands in top slot you're screwed til you zone


rapture might be un'disease cloudable i dunno but yeah
haven't had the chance to "test" it out again if u know what i mean heheh

i've been able to easily get out of rapture with disease cloud, and easily been able to dispel splurt before, is the thing
