Extreme latency in TT

Started getting this in the last 2-3 weeks, but have not had issues in well over a year and a half of playing on this server. Im talking 5000+. Camping out and coming back usually clears it, at least for a while. Other times I have no issues. Have had deaths in TT due to this, real pain in the ass.

My friends and I are also often victims of this extreme latency / disconnecting in TT. It occurs at zone in and completely knocks us out of the game. For me it's roughly a 50% chance at zone in of being completely lagged out. This has resulted in quite a few deaths and difficulties!

Would be great to address this issue. Thanks for the hard work devs!

P.S. for the first time I am stuck in Trakanon with this bug, I cannot get out today. Every time I log in I get the latency bug, about 5 times now in a row!

Seriously though, I've checked a variety of different situations in Trak's Teeth with no luck. I could list out all the different things I tried, but in the end none of it proved beneficial. The only thing I can't check is physical location from the server.

Try logging into TT with a different character then the one that has been experiencing lag and see if that character is lagged as well. I've seen one player access 2 different characters. One was lagged, the other wasn't. There might be specific issues related to items/characters/spells that may not work in the zone and cause these issues.

Again, this is all just speculation from what I have played with and have seen. Do you guys have issues on one specific character or all characters in TT?

I experienced desync, massive lagspike, 2000MS + especially during US prime time.
During Euro hours ( or when sv population is less than 400 peoples) I have no problem.

To be honnest I am not sure if this issue begins since the last patch or few days after but it is each day(US primetime) and even more worse during weekend.
