I'm not trying to prove you wrong with that source, just saying that it coincides with the P99 wiki.

I already agreed with you that you shouldn't be summoning light blue pets at lvl 12.

i will look around for proof from year 2000 or so, but i know 100% i used to get yellow cons at level 12. id spend 10mins summoning new pets just to find one. level 16 they could be max white, and level 20 they were always dark blue. then again on this server at level 20 i could quite possibly summon a light blue pet, seeing as light blue never exsisted before.

Well, I can tell you the 49 pet didn't summon a yellow (so this point is relevant) and there was a cut off at the point you could summon a yellow pet.

Light blue I think should only be the case of shaman pets. Then the test for how "blue" the necro pet was, was how much it hit for.

Specialize conjure early on was valued by some necros given how many f'ing pets that had to summon before sitting down for a day with a glorious and refreshing 2 liter of Dr. Pepper.

Venom of the snake (conjure) was/is also the balls in PvP at that level. Shock of poison also made me MAD jelly when they got it.
