A lot of people said the same thing about Obama. And it was true then, also. Yet...

Trump is all talk, of course. But so was Obama. In fact, in actual real world experience, Trump's credibility is far beyond the current president before he took office. As of the 08 election anything is fucking possible.

As I said, I'd bet money the nomination goes to yet another Bush. But it's fun to speculate. Hence, the point of this thread on a gaming forum. Lol
Of course!

Trump's "credibility" is what exactly, that he's a successful businessman? So was Dubya, apparently. How many truly great Presidents were successful businessmen, a la Trump?

I'll take good judgement over whatever people think Trump has. He's still a birther, anti-vaxx nutbag who hasn't articulated a single realistic method of cleaning up any of the issues he's railing on about.

Trump is P99 Red. Fun to watch, like a car wreck - but not to be taken seriously.

Oh, and despite the wishful thinking of some, the president doesn't "run the economy."
So apparently he can't just jump in and start cutting the dead wood as he sees fit? I thought that was a big part of his appeal.

(do you see how ridiculous that sounds?)
no no you quoting me out of context. When you do it does sound ridiculous of course.

the person i was responding to went on a diatribe about how one radical named Mohammed killed 5 people 2 miles from him.. which means all people named Mohammed are murderers.

I was making light that 218 mass shootings in the USA in 2015 alone could happen and dumb people will still argue that guns aren't a root cause of them.

I was commenting that this particular dumb person would likely make this type of accusation about a person based on their race/religion; but likely argues against making that type of judgment about guns. Generally those two opinions go hand and hand with these stupid people.

I hope the in dept description of my sarcasm makes you understand the joke just a little bit more clearly.

Huh? If you don't understand the difference between the economy and the bureaucracy of the executive branch of government, much of which exists at the pleasure of the chief executive, I really don't know what to tell you. He can direct a budget because he has to sign it, but presidents don't run economies. Never have. Never will. They can hobble economies and they can do things to get out of the way for the opposite effect, but they don't "run" the economy. Apples and oranges.

As to your other post....I've yet to see you post any criticism of trump that couldn't have been said about Obama. Yet he got elected. And re-elected after turning in a complete turd for a first term.

Point being, as of this current president, anything is possible in presidential elections. Don't mistake pointing this out as an endorsement of Trump.

It's not that I don't understand the difference, I'm trying to find out HOW you think Trump will accomplish the things you say he's going to accomplish. You implied he would cut the dead wood and get rid of 50,000 government employees. How? Hell, you watch any of his stump speeches and you can tell he doesn't have the first clue.

Not sure what this debate has to do with Barack Obama, that's just deflection and opinion. I'm not a huge fan, but it's hard to argue that the country he took over 6.5 years ago was in better shape than the one we have now.

Your entire argument is hackneyed, tired, and stale. And isn't even your own. It's just the same bullshit condescension and name calling that the left always resorts to when they have nothing substantial to say. You know precisely nothing about me or my politics yet you purport to connect dots when what you are really doing is inventing most of the dots to fit your pea witted regurgitated argument that someone else canned for you.

You will notice, by the way, that I never said all Muslims were bad. Or maybe you missed that as you were inventing that dot along with several others in this and about every other response to my posts. I was responding to the assertion that concern about Isis is the provenance of "retards." That's brilliant, considering attacks on the part of jihadists have been happening for decades and continue to...Most recently one right here in my hometown several weeks ago.

Give it a rest, Skippy. Nobody is buying the bullshit labels and name calling anymore besides those unfortunate enough to be on your intellectual level and those who are but think they aren't. And I'm immune, really. Doesn't phase me in the least.

By the way, I hear this every four years. Michelle Bachmann, Herman Cain, Ron Paul, Sarah Palin. Who's the last "out of the box" politician to grab the Republican nomination or win the Presidency for that matter? Hell, Palin torpedoed McCain - I was shocked she got anywhere near the ticket. Doubt the R's will make that kind of mistake again, even as the VP.

Fact is, Trump is doomed because the power men/money men of the Republican party won't allow him to be the nominee.

Doesn't change the fact that I'm sure you would argue against that same logic being applied to the second amendment.

The only dots that im connecting is what you post, indicates you are a very stupid bigot.
