Tried it, worked, was really happy with it... then it randomly went haywire. Basically, nothing in NQ newbie fighting area shows now except NPCs, PCs, MOBs, trees, flagpoles. Everything else went black.

Then I alt-tabbed to make this post, and when I got back it was all lavender.

Everything worked wonderfully. The new graphics were a wonderful change. I loved the original graphics. I nostalgia'd for a while. Played for a long while. Then I decided to upgrade my graphics slightly.
The world was a better place.

Check out FatMagic's EQLite. It'll cut your P99 install down to 1.4gb

Works fine here. Thanks for this nice "Update", hehe.

Here a compare, of old and new Textures, in Felwithe.

Also a DIRECT compare to it, see here (hover over/away on/from the Screenshot, to see the diffrence):

I think, youll figure out yourself, whats the new and whats the old texture set, hehe ;-)

Default No kunark textures

I downloaded the original megaupload .rar file but it doesn't seem to have any .s3d files for kunark zones. is there any way to get updated textures for kunark zones besides having to download the whole game from the sony website?

Ok i have done this twice and still nothing. My girlfriend did this on her computer and it looks better. Is there something else that I'm missing.
I am using windows 7 on a laptop. but i believe she is running the same on her laptop.

Never mind I figured it out on my own.

What I did was extract the files into a temp folder on the desktop, then copied the new files over to the named Everquest.

Files work great, thank you for sharing them.
