The right has been the establishment for decades, that remains unchanged. Republicans or Democrats, both fundamentally conservative parties and always have been. See Malcolm X and MLK speeches for more exposition

I think what changed most starkly in the last 20-30 years is just access to information

Hmm some of us define the right as people who want dresses that cover your knees.

Not do you want an authoritarian dictator. You can have one of those that dictates dresses above knees (for boys).

If you speak of your personal experiences, debate club discourse tells us to reject that as "anecdotal"
