Those economic measurements do not indicate the health of a country or society or civilization.

That’s what I meant to say.

Shit was terrible.

Stocks up? Who gives a damn. Shit was terrible.

Life abides but having a list of numbers do something doesn’t mean real life is good.

High stonks means high credit availability, which is a good thing in a market economy.

the 2010s were the roaring 10s and if you didnt notice that well, then all I can say is sorry you missed the roaring part before the depression.

Funding for new companies went up by %25000 durring the last 10 years.

Home prices went so high over the last decade that Americans that bought a house after the crash still work in the service industry but own homes. (Those are melinials that dont believe you that the economy is crashing and tend to skew "middle of the road now" aka they want to consolidate their wealth they know they got lucky getting too)

If you worked in tech you were getting roughly (and still are getting payed super handsomely but its declining) over 2-3x your salary from 2000-2010.

Look at the home prices as a reference point with salary increases outside of tech.

The trillions of dollars that we have been printing for 10 years has offered the greatest decade of drug induced lethargy that no other decade can compare.

The video game boom. The social media boom. The 500 million dollar hollywood budget for 5-10 movies a year.

We became foodies. Celebrities'. Superstars. For doing nothing on social media.

This has been the most wild 10 years in the history of our lives.

A fricken 22 series long movie marathon that spent more than Jurassic park spent on their park in the book!

Welcome to the depression! Hope you had fun!

The real irony is the things "making money" aka "employing peeople" in this country right now are the exact things that are going to collapse it.

Health insurance.
Welfare (nursing homes and social security and stuff).
And fast food.
Scooter and assisted living...industries etc.
Cancer pork. NOT KOSHER!!!

I think the old ppl should be punished for what they wrought, selling everything to china, letting drugs flourish, they also shouldn't get a get out of jail free card for making it to 60 and being obese and smokers who drive gas guzzlers. they should burn

Their hell is soylent. Even if it takes many rebirths and resurrections. (from their individual perspective)

Those that where faithful will be guided to new Jerusalem!

G-d wills it. It's coming.
