Now if you are wearing 200k worth of gear, I'm not asking for a donation...I'm selling you a port for 100pp. If I am porting at all I will advertise that I am selling ports, I even have the server first on the wiki for that one. But see, we all know that "Porting for donations" is the EQ PC way of saying "Selling ports". If you are poor ask for a free port, if they decline you are free to start another thread. I would stick to just name and shaming in RnF...you'll still probably get trolled pretty hard for it though.

![]() You spelled "artistic" wrong, because that is clearly performance art at its very best.

![]() I never ask for pp but still always thank the person when they tip. CRs and lowbies I don't expect anything from but I've had level 50s+ ask me for a port then run off. If the port is out of my way (i.e. some effort is involved or I'm not actively porting at that time), then yeah, I expect something in return.

![]() I don't log on to port people, I have my own agenda with things to accomplish. Porting takes away from that, and a very significant amount of time. I have made a no port list to include people that have asked me to go a good ways out of my way to port them and I get nothing in return? Why??
If druids and wizards want to ask or require money for ports, good for them. They are spending their time doing what they want and being productive on their part, so the people wanting these ports can increase their own productive time in game. If this is a semantics rant, "accepting donations" vs "porting for plat", move on, who cares to the OP, "technically a free service"? maybe to you
