Couple of years ago they created something called the Pandemic Bonds. The idea is that people could invest in these bonds and the money would be used to help poor countries deal with pandemics. These bonds payed out an insane return of 6-11% over the LIBOR rate. The rush to invest was so powerful that these bonds were oversubscribed by like 200%.

Now, if you're an investor you get your interest no matter what. But, if the WHO declares an actual "pandemic" before maturation date, the investors lose the principal. Meanwhile people think the WHO is this independent organization that cares about people's lives, not the profits of their wealthy friends and backers. Mind control.

My point was it's all mind control. Not denying the virulence and the threat. Just that everyone is exploiting this virus for their own ends. The media is hyping because viewers. The governments are downplaying because panic. Big Pharma lying about the vaccine being just months away because profits. The WHO delaying pandemic status because of investor pressure. Rumors about bioweapon status because China must be blamed. Everyone is going to get a piece of this thing, and they're going to use it as much as they can.

Wait, circling back on this one. Are we talking about a different class of bonds? The two that people have been talking about have their payouts triggered by objective statistics that are totally not based on WHO calling it a pandemic. The first class of bonds is if the disease crosses an international border into a developing country and kills 20 or more people there, the investors in that class lose the principal. The second class is if the disease kills 2,500 or more people in a developing country (FYI, China is not considered a developing country for purpose of this bond definition).
