that condo bldg's pool had been leaking for a few years, the condo board got estimates to fix it and then scoffed at every bid because it cost a fuckton and would put the pool out of commission for a long time. this condo board even tried to get residents to pay into a fund to fix the leaks, and every resident rightfully told the condo board to go get fucked because they already pay their "ownership fees" to the board for exactly this type of thing.

Time went on while the board tried to ignore the problem and hope a cheaper solution would come along, meanwhile the pool water and rain runoff were eroding the already soft foundations and rusting through steel reinforcements.

you know the rest of the story. and I guarantee that horza would have known this, if tucker ran the story.
