Despite my children being a presumed product of their legitimate marraige, that didnt stop the courts from assessing child support obligations in the interim.

Technically, if HE didnt agree to sign the affidavit contesting legitimacy, the courts would have presumed him to be the father, with all obligations therewith and been within their legal right to tell me to kick rocks despite paternity tests proving otherwise.

Yeah, fortunately she isn't very smart, so I was able to do it all pro se without much of a coherent defense on her behalf, which helped quite a bit in making the hole I was in surmountable. Anyhow, recovering from the entire predicament required making a determined personal decision to own my situation. I had to stop making excuses and blaming the world for the situation I allowed myself to get into.

The irony is, some philosophers insist the world doesn't even exist, for one to blame their problems on. Ergo Cogito Sum, and all that.

Cogito Ergo Sum, and that's the basis of a lot of what you've expressed in your motivational speakings. Heidegger disproved it in his essay "The Origin of the Work of Art."

Youre right. That doesnt change the fact that solipsism is the basis by which all philosophies must overcome the cartesian dilemna.

First, we have to agree that this plane exists, and that "we" exist, not just "I". Everything else stems from the fact that you and i agree that we are both thinking things independent of each other, and not mere projections of the self.
