I really don't get how people can sit at a camp for more than 2 hours playing a single character night after night. To each their own though.

Grouping to me was always to achieve some end. Complete a quest, a flag, a key. After it's done I'm done. But to do it to see your exp bar move 1 yellow is death.

i can help with PL's or can just give you a lvl 40 account. just lemmie know what class you want and i'll make one. takes me about 10 hours to do 1 - 40

As I said, I think BDA might have a rough time with some of the more complicated raid content in PoP and beyond, and if you do beat it then you might come back to Project 1999 improved at coordination (not that it would matter without racing/tracking, of course).

I'm curious if any of you BDAers who went over to Phinigel exp'd via soloing?

I personally loathe grouping, I find it to be boring and any single class only has to put in half a face roll to fill their groups need, this goes for any EQ server. Whereas soloing it's all reliant on you, and your own efforts are the only reason for your slow or fast leveling.

But from what I've read, and in my very minimal experience, the solo exp seems horrid over there and immediately turned me off. Like 1-2 blue kills for 1% at level 5 bad. I know they wanted to allow grouping to be a viable means of leveling but it seems like they completely gutted the ability to solo for exp as an option.

Is this the case at later levels too, or does it just suck in the earlier levels?

I tried Phinny for a couple of days and the solo exp was awful. I did most of my exping on my p99 enc solo and was hoping to be able to do that again, but you're essentially forced to group on Phinny. Was an immediate turnoff. If they ever address the awful solo exp, I would probably give it another shot.

Basically this is my thought.

I have a 6? Druid over there and seeing 1% for white or yellow solo kills hurts my soul.

Maybe once I finish the Artisan's Prize quest on live I'll give Phinigel another shot.

Even if they can't beat pop and beyond content why would BDA much less anyone come back here? P99 and live are completely different things at this point. P99 isn't even about the strats or the fights themselves. Not to mention all the QoL downgrades from live to here. To think a raiding guild would get that far only to give up and regress on raid content they can't even do due to poop socking is just dumb. For people wanting to raid, scheduled 8-9 pm EST NToV clears or whatever are the biggest draws of other emus or Phinny.
