I too am really mad about this. That $500 y/r would go a long way for me.

Thankfully the VA qualifies.

I just hate seeing the kind of behavior that I witnessed as so damaging perpetuated systematically for some bozos profit.
I hope VA working out good or okay for ya! [You must be logged in to view images. The majority of their employees mean well though even when some weird/slow stuff happens once in awhile and are very helpful & respectful to my friend. I'd say he'd probably give it a B+ or A- overall. I'll ask him when he gets back from his IV antibiotic infusion in about an hour to confirm. He is quite allergic to Cipro and has had some nasty bug in his kidney infection for a pretty long time they've decided to take a go at with IV antibiotics.

If you think that the reason why everyone else is playing nice is because people and governments are inherently nice; you're fucking delusional. What, throughout human history validates this viewpoint?

We can't all be pacifists and remain at the top of the world. Someone's gotta do the dirty work of making sure you can sleep peacefully at night without fear of autocratic powers destroying the serenity our government has created out of chaos. The natural state of the world and humanity is chaos, not order. Totally baffling concept I know.

Who would've thought that we could've stopped Hitler's Encroachment by putting Michael Jackson on stage at the Super Bowl to sing some sappy shit about holding hands, across the world?

Who would've thought, that all we had to do to end the occupation of east germany and the balkans under communist rule was to use the correct word combination to dismantle the USSR's agressive posturing.
You forgot the part though where I mentioned all the $$$ in pork and over-estimated defense contracts that goes to management and corporate boards of directors types that are making a killing in profits, stocks, & personal incomes from a lot of the DoD defense budget. Obviously there isn't going to be too much oversight and watch-dogging of this when these mega companies fund the campaigns of the politicians and then will hire them later on for something dependable and/or lucrative if they acted like good political pets while they were "representing the people." This is just *PART* of what some call corporate welfare or could be referred to as socialism for mega corps. Can we agree we are both against this? And of course this applies to many mega industries - not just defense. But defense companies and other companies like big oil make a good chunk of this corporate welfare.

You guys were about to blame him for the economy a few weeks ago when the market tanked.

Why the name-calling if you're winning an argument?
We are in agreement on this. This is not a partisan issue, however. BOTH parties refuse to address the inefficiencies, just like BOTH PARTIES are failing to address how mega corporations being able to buy their own public stock back and then distribute it freely as bonuses to their executive board is causing massive inflation in the stock market which is why we're looking at another recession around the corner.

Wanna know why BOTH PARTIES ignore this while they stand around with their dicks in their hands jizzing all over each others' shoes? Because Citizens United, and lobbyist are cutting them all in on the deal. Neither party is addressing systemic issues. Don't pretend like the democrats a flying fuck about this. What did Obama do in 8 years in office to combat these ponzi schemes?
