random crashing while zoning, higher ms, blank server select!?!

Upgraded my phone to Android Lollipop and now having these exact same issues, so I'd wager its not an ISP problem if my tethered connection to super cellular internet is having the same problem.

100 attempts logging in, 1 of those actually got to the character select screen but crashed upon loading.

Well it wasn't upgrading to Lollipop that screwed me, rolled back to kitkat and same issues persist..

with all the last 2 pages talk of this just happening over the last few weeks i'd wager its 100% something serverside

This is still a consistent problem: Crashing on zoning, random long periods of high MS (until relogging), etc... Anyone find anything at all that could be helpful into fixing this problem? Have tried all of the following:

1. Fresh install
2. WinEQ2
3. Running in different compatibility modes
4. Duxa's all-in-one installer

And a few other fixes that I found been advised to try.

Crashed on entering world 5 times in a row and counting...

Been playing 5 months no issue, now this. Today i have crashed to login screen more then i can count, for doing everything from zoning to entering world. From there i get "unknown server errors" and timeouts trying to log back on, for hours. Randomly, when i tab back to eq and click login, it'll occasionaly get me to char select then crash, or crash after i load in a character. Took me about 40min to run from south ro to oggok, every zone was a crash, every crash was a ordeal trying to get back in. From there it's gone nuts and i have not gotten in for an hour

was connecting reasonably well today until server pop hit 1K+ then blank server select 100% of the time.

please fix!

edit: would server population be causing issues with the login server? since after reading this thread most can't even get to server select screen.. please fix the login server!! will donate!

In order to test this I went and played on red for a little while and didn't have any problems zoning back and forth. However, I'm uncertain if this is a pop. issue, or just a server issue.

Yea could've been a fluke who knows.

I've given up, it's now a waste of time and blood pressure raising to try and log on. Was working perfectly for a month and then suddenly on the 10th it was borked, something changed somewhere. Yet I can still connect to any website and Mb/s is solid.

Only conclusion I can come up with is its something on the eqemu side, literally NOTHING has changed on my end yet instead of a 100% successful connection rate its about 4%.

I don't expect a fix either, these folks are busy with beta's and other such things.

^^ Just tried running through a few different VPN's, same result. 110% confirming at least to myself that its not something on my end.

If only this was blizzard so I could have one of their techs come point fingers at my ISP like during the D3:RoS disconnecting fiasco that affected shittons of folks, but oh no it was our fault not theirs [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

bump, please fix this^^ been trying for 30min to get online. was able to earlier just fine before server load hit 800+

something with your login server doesn't like less then optimal connections when server load is high.

still offering to donate to fix this!
