Hold on Tiggs. Omni and Forceful entry just gave me a call. In case you forgot they are entire guilds full of people who left BDA cause they were unhappy with Chest's shitty leadership. Its a smokescreen, beware.

BDA never changed, Omni wanted to exploit the rotation under cloki/Gats with the "we're super nice all the time" PR front + casual playstyle, and FE went to go play hardcore and overthrow TMO to only end up folding into TMO. My leadership has remained consistent and the guilds vision is still on point.

TMO has always been a band of mercenaries papering over the cracks with loot, now that the loots falling off all the problems are surfacing and all the mercenaries are bailing.

But you are all mercenaries. No one would suffer through the end game clusterfuck clogfest on p99 unless they had decided, "I really really want some items and this is the only way I am going to get it."

That's the essence of being mercenary.

If you removed everyone from the competitive raiding guilds who wasn't a mercenary, you'd be left with people who run webpages as a hobby.

Our greedy nature? I guess that year of policing the rotation is what you're talking about, or maybe sharing all the mobs on the server with everyone when TMO was suspended.

I disagree, in regards to BDA there's a large core of members that haven't even seen an upgrade in years yet we slog through it to make sure our friends get geared up too. I'm pretty sure Anthrax has never seen a legit upgrade through BDA since he came stacked up through VD and was only lacking VP loot. Personally, I've won an AoN random and got a side grade from Inny (had sky shoulders, use sode to dps) in the past two years. Anything else I've received from the guild has been rots for my SK.

Life can be rough in BDA, the loot flow is slower since we don't have the drive for the class C pixel piñata so that's obviously not what is keeping people around. It's the guild comraderie.

Yes because the majority of those players have been on red for half a year. I assure you, none of those players are "leaders" in the sense that you use it. Then again, neither are you.
