I'd say "serious risk of the substantial and irreversible impairment of a major bodily function of the pregnant woman" seems pretty broad, and is certainly justification to perform one for a 10-year old.

But I'll read the full language as well.

Yeah, legislation and contracts can be pitas. I read/interpret contracts for a living, so imho, that exception (also known as a carve-back) could be used to justify an abortion in a 10-year old rape victim. But that's just my $.02

I just dont see the country functioning with that law. The system would shut down.
