HELP w/ VZTZ (MOD?)

I zoned into HighPass Hold from Kithicor Forest.. and my EQ crashed saying

"EverQuest cannot find the zone file in the directory that you are currently running EverQuest from. Please check and make sure that you do not have more than one directory with EverQuest installed."

Now I can't get passed character select screen, every time I try to log in it crashes saying the same thing ^^^^^^

Also I can't play my alt either I tried to log in as him, and it just says everquests disconnect.. I tried this a few times

My character name is Float, if you could just move me outta HighPass Hold as soon as you can I would appreciate it... wanna play badly!!!!!!

Also, you apparently are missing the highpass hold zone file... i'm not sure how that would of happened. Follow my setup guide here from start to finish and you shouldn't have problems:

If it gives you some sort of satisfaction to keep stating what amounts to "I told you so, I told you so!!" by repeating the same thing over and over on an internet message board, you should probably re-evaluate your life.

Plenty of people hacking on P99 and every other blue server. Only difference is they get caught less often because they aren't using it directly against another player.

so which pvp server do most play on? and is it a grind to lvl up? only reason i havnt been playing p99 a whole lot

When I was working on putting a classic PvP server up, I actually wrote my own patcher that connected to my server, did a binary bitwise comparison on the files in the EQ directory and compared them to versions I kept on the server to make sure they were the same, the was used to launch EQ after the check was done. After launching EQ it stayed resident in memory and monitored the EQ memory space.

Neither MQ nor MySeq is passive, the only truly passive cheating program out there was ShowEQ when it was run correctly under linux, with a true hub.

It was relativly easy to detect things like hooks into EQ's addressing, packet injection, memory space injection, that type of thing. It authenticated with a web server I had up, and remained connected for the duration of the gameplay session. If at any time it disconnected, I terminated the connection to the EQ session.

Then I got into project 99, and the VZTZ servers, and kind of put the whole project down, cause it was a lot of friggin work for what was probably going to be a no-population server.

I've talked with them before about contributing, and rightly so...they aren't really interested.

From what I gather, they've got all hands on deck to keep pushing out bugs, fixing content, and keep things moving forward. Taking time away from that to integrate code they have no knowledge of, into code I wrote with no knowledge of what they have, would be a big pain.

They've got the talent to throw something together from scratch like this in a mater of a couple of weeks if they wanted to.

The xp rate is double what P99 is for soloing. The group xp rate is higher. You can get to 50 within about a week of casual play depending on your efficiency and what class you pick.
