i feel bad for you, i got hit by a car on my bike last month too, so have two friends. i dunno what the fuck is up with idiots in cars lately.

Was pretty scary. I remember most of it. As I'm laying on the ground half unconscious he's saying, "oh my God I'm sorry so sorry omg I am so sorry" and I, for some reason, keep responding with "no, you're fine, its fine" lol?

Road ripped out a massive chunk of my hair, ew. When I'm not actually on it, ill post a photo of my phone that should by no means still be working. Feel much better than I did 7 hours ago, pretty shooken up though. Gnarly road rash, gross gaping head wound, lumpy head, etc. Lucky I didn't break anything, knee and one ankle are pretty fucked.

you didn't get the police involved considering he was drunk? dum move.

get a lawyer tomorrow. you can sue for medical bills and such no problem. also i would have your lawyer move to charge him with vehicular assault. unless you drive drunk yourself, in which case it would be hypocritical to sue him [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I was severely out of it, was unconscious for about four minutes after getting hit. I have a vague recollection of the cops being here, and I think I remember the paramedics saying they have my bike. It was on campus, so I'm sure at the very least campus cops were involved. I was hauled away in an ambulance pretty much ASAP.

what kind of car hit you btw? mine was a lexus, clipped my back wheel thankfully, but he drove off :\

If I recall, it was a jeep Cherokee type thing. I was cruising down a hill only way home, he was driving towards me, and made a left turn to get into a parking garage. Just didn't see me at all. I smashed into the passengers side hood area, then must have flipped over it or something. I recall hitting the car, everything else until the ambulance is pretty gray.
