i love how the people who are for it have one repetative line they repeat. yet everyone who is hesitant for it can argue there opinion intelligently. just look at some of these peoples signatures, and profile pictures, and previous posts. these people arent here for immersion of classic red pvp. there here to engage in unclassic like activities and want to use thier forum reputations to sway the direction of the server to their liking.

Classic red pvp was 20 ppl in gfay shit talking. Since there's only 1 person there now i'd say global ooc is a closer emulation of the classic experience.

i think there should be some kinda of compromise. ONE global OOC allowed per in-game day. so ppl have to make their OOC count - no spamming or shit talking for 15 minutes across the entire server. (for levels 10+ only)

or: 1 global OOC per kill of someone in-range to you (levels 10+ only)
or: 1 global OOC per in-game day, + 1 global OOC for every 100 plat you give to a vendor to buy a "global shout out" or whatever.
or: some other creative way to severely limit the amount of OOC garbage that ppl will undoubtedly creat. if it's unlimited global OOC, there will just be shit talking/griefing ppl off the server.

i loved global ooc, but just a couple tards in ooc make the game look horrible to newcomers, and ppl with thinner skin. i say leave it OUT unless something is there to limit it. (maybe only global ooc during a certain time of day in-game? or when a special event happens or something? i dont know just trying to throw out ideas

You nerds are making this such a bigger deal than it is. Enable OOC, make it so you can only make 5 emotes every 30 seconds or something. Simple as that. None of this flagging people or location bullshit, I mean its fucking chat? This is only going to BOOST interest and player base, it brings a sense of community and liveliness to the server. When I logged on last it seemed pretty vapid and hollow, especially in zones that no one hangs out in anymore.

Anyone against this is a super fag and probably plays from grandmahs basement.
